Gee whiz

You would have thought that since it's the end of CA week I would be free to laze around in the house. But no! I still have an Essentials of Finance presentation to prepare for! Sigh... Now I've got to make my way to PY's place to do the presentation slides. Triple sigh...

Anyways, it's the 19th of November already! It's week 9 next week! Time sure does fly fast! I remember the semester starting not too long ago and it's already more than half the semester... I guess it's because there's so much work to do that we don't take note of the dates. It's better this way, because I'm so looking forward to the hols! Woohoo! Christmas is coming!

So on Friday, I was arguing with my eldest son, XM. He is also a Taoist and we were at Yoshinoya. (I think that's how it's spelt) We were going to watch a movie and he was having dinner. So since my younger son did not have any opinions as to where to eat, we went with XM's choice. I said that I wanted to eat a plate of beef and he went:

XM: *gasp* You can eat beef?

Me: Yeah... Why can't I eat beef?

XM: You are not supposed to eat beef. It's against your religion!

Me: Huh! No! I'm Taoist, not Buddhist.

XM: I'm Taoist also! I don't eat beef.

Me: My whole family is Taoist and we eat beef...

And so it went on and on until I got sick of it and changed the topic. And I ate the plate of beef anyway. Can someone tell me whether Taoists can eat beef? And tell XM also!

So anyways, the three of us went to watch Casino Royale. I have to say that though the new James Bond, Daniel Craig, is not as handsome and charming as Pierce Brosnan, he has a fantastic body! Woah! It's totally sculpted. Very yummy!

The movie was nice too. A very different portrayal of Bond. He was not the perfect, debonair Bond yet. He was still working the ropes up to the Bond that we have come to know and love. (Maybe the love part was for women only. Bond is probably a figure that men know and admire.)

So that's about it. I've got to move my sorry ass to PY's place now.

Auf Wiedersehen!
