WOOHOO!!! IT'S ALL OVER!!!

Yay!

Yippee!

Woohoo!

It's finally over!

This entire semester seems to be the most exhausting as of yet. Tests, projects, exams... Eveything came one thing after another. During the study week, I had EOF on Monday, UCCD and MPP on Tuesday and right after that, PFP. I seriously think that the school loves to torture students... Study week is supposed to be a week for students to study for exams. Keyword here is study. Don't make us waste our precious study time by throwing tests after tests at us! Urgh!

Anyway... It's over! *throws confetti*

Just thinking back on that week makes me shudder. MPP was a killer. It drained so much of my energy... Thank goodness it didn't come out too bad.

Then there were the exams. Wooh... Despite giving it my best shot, I don't think it was enough... I sure hope that my GPA won't drop too much... :(

No use crying over spilt milk I say! I shall not think about it anymore! No sirree! *throws exam notes (especially EOF notes!) into a bonfire and dances a victory jig around it*

Anyways, now that it's finally over, I have 9 full weeks of vacation! Woah! I just don't know what to do with so much yet so little time! It's too much for rest, yet too short for me to find a job. Jobs require longer commitment. I don't think I'll be able to get a job for 9 weeks right? Sigh... I guess I'll just have to be a Scrooge and save every penny that I have now. Anyone wants to recommend a job to me? Pretty please?

On an unrelated note, anyone knows the name of the cutest boy that I've seen in school? And it's not Thomas, Poh Ying! I'll tell your Ran Fei about your secret crush alright! ;P

Well... That's all that I've the brain cells for... I'm gonna sleep after watching my favourite show. War and Beauty! Good nitey!

Happy New Year 2007!!!

First of all,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It's 2007! A brand new year! Let's all celebrate!

Hahaha... Enough of my enthusiasm. I know I havn't been blogging for quite some time now. When I finaaly made up my mind to post an entry, I got sick. Sick as in ill. Yup, I'm still ill. Coughing my lungs out now... Urgh...

I had to cancel all my plans for the weekend because of this nasty bug. Headaches, back aches and cough. Eeeww... I spent the new year being sick in bed...

Enough with my griping, what am I to blog about today? Hmm... Hmmm... Hmmmm...... I really have no idea. It's like my mind is blank. Or maybe I just have no energy left for my brain cells. Hahaha...

So I guess I'll just crawl back into bed...

Gosh... Those Korean words didn't come out quite the way they were suppose to, but never mind... I'm too lazy to change them...

李俊基 이준기

이준기 이준기 이준기 이준기 이준기

I need to take my mind off a sad sad event so I joined my mum in watching 미 이 걸. If you want to know what it is, go check up the Korean dictionary. Or you could take the short cut and check out your nearest VCD shop. 이준기 is the absolute cutest, handsomest (I made up that word) and sweetest man in the world. Sigh! I've made him my newest consort. Sorry 지 훈. You'll still be my boyfriend alright?

Hahaha... I seem to have a thing for Korean men. 이준기 and 주 지 훈. Sigh! Two very adorable men.

Alright alright. Enough gushing about men. While the men on screen can be very mesmerising, in reality, a lot of them are just plain jerks and assholes. However, I'll admit there are still a rare few good ones out there.

Anyways, it's the last day of school for this year! Woohoo! I desperately need to rest and recuperate. Yay! But there are still days that I'll have to go back to school... Sigh...

Still... I love the holidays! And I absolutely adore Christmas! (Hint hint!) Hehehe...

That's all for now. I think I'll go and sleep 40 hours or so now...

Hospices are such dreadful places...

Only 1 out of 10 patients ever make it out of the hospice...

A sunday in a long while

Havn't blogged in a long while...

Between running to the hospital and the many projects, I havn't really had the time...

Maybe it's the stress, or maybe it's just me. But I've been feeling down these few days. I've talked to PS dear about a couple of things, and perhaps... Sigh... I shall not bare my inner thoughts here. It's just too embarrassing...

But I just can't help but mope. I need to keep up my spirits! I think I shall make myself busy. Maybe exhaustion will keep the sadness away...

Hahaha... This seems to be a really depressing entry. I'll change the topic and yak about something else.

Well... It's been quite a week. The 23rd, that's two weeks ago, was my birthday. I'm 18! Yay... At the stroke of 12, midnight, I entered Gotham, and spent my birthday in a club. Thanks to Pat, Xiaolin, Eleine, Lynette and Joyce(XL's friend). Thanks babes! It was fun!

Unfortunately, that evening was also spent working on a project. AM project, if I'm not wrong. And also at the hospital. What a way to celebrate your birthday...

So anyways, the weekend was also spent doing projects. Sad...

Monday came and went. I think it was spent working on AM and MPP again. But then, I can't really remember. Tuesday came. The 28th. Happy belated 18th birthday to Michelle, Daryl and Henry!

I worked throughout the night and slept for an hour. But XL had it worse. She didn't even manage to catch a wink. Thanks babe!

Wednesday. AM and MPP submission and presentation. My stress lessened considerably after that. Whew... After GEMs, I went to do my duty for a CCA talk cum interview. It was for SIA. Cabin crew recruitment. Future air stewards and stewardesses. I was charged with the task of checking the girls for the height requirement. I think many of them thought I was a stewardess myself. Probably because of my hair. It was all pinned up because of the presentation in the morning. The interviews went on to about 6 or 7pm. Then, I went to visit my grandma again...

Thursday evening was spent with my grandma again. Friday was a rest day. I unwound with my dears; PS, Fio and Val; Daddy; ZL; and nephew; Daniel; at a club. I don't think they had fun though. I think we'll go somewhere less... er... less dancing-involved next time ok?

Saturday. Yesterday was spent partly at home, with my grandma, and at Marina Square. I finally managed to get Michelle's present. Sorry babe! You've got to wait a while more. Your present is particularly difficult. Everything I chose was out of stock. Tong will have to collect it for me. I promise you'll get it by Tuesday.

So anyways, it's Sunday today. I'm supposed to be doing Spec Dip, AM and that little article for Ccoms. So that's about it.

Ciao!

Gee whiz

You would have thought that since it's the end of CA week I would be free to laze around in the house. But no! I still have an Essentials of Finance presentation to prepare for! Sigh... Now I've got to make my way to PY's place to do the presentation slides. Triple sigh...

Anyways, it's the 19th of November already! It's week 9 next week! Time sure does fly fast! I remember the semester starting not too long ago and it's already more than half the semester... I guess it's because there's so much work to do that we don't take note of the dates. It's better this way, because I'm so looking forward to the hols! Woohoo! Christmas is coming!

So on Friday, I was arguing with my eldest son, XM. He is also a Taoist and we were at Yoshinoya. (I think that's how it's spelt) We were going to watch a movie and he was having dinner. So since my younger son did not have any opinions as to where to eat, we went with XM's choice. I said that I wanted to eat a plate of beef and he went:

XM: *gasp* You can eat beef?

Me: Yeah... Why can't I eat beef?

XM: You are not supposed to eat beef. It's against your religion!

Me: Huh! No! I'm Taoist, not Buddhist.

XM: I'm Taoist also! I don't eat beef.

Me: My whole family is Taoist and we eat beef...

And so it went on and on until I got sick of it and changed the topic. And I ate the plate of beef anyway. Can someone tell me whether Taoists can eat beef? And tell XM also!

So anyways, the three of us went to watch Casino Royale. I have to say that though the new James Bond, Daniel Craig, is not as handsome and charming as Pierce Brosnan, he has a fantastic body! Woah! It's totally sculpted. Very yummy!

The movie was nice too. A very different portrayal of Bond. He was not the perfect, debonair Bond yet. He was still working the ropes up to the Bond that we have come to know and love. (Maybe the love part was for women only. Bond is probably a figure that men know and admire.)

So that's about it. I've got to move my sorry ass to PY's place now.

Auf Wiedersehen!
